We harvest our chestnuts fresh each fall and start shipping as soon as they're ready, usually around October 15.

Our medium chestnuts are just as sweet and nutty as our larger varieties, just more compact. They are naturally gluten-free and can be roasted or boiled and eaten plain, or used in stuffing or other recipes. 

Chestnuts are perishable and only available for a few weeks each year.

How to Roast

Score an X on the flat side of each nut. Add to a pot of boiling water and boil 5 minutes (this makes them much easier to peel). Then roast at 425°F for about 15 minutes until shells curl back. Peel while warm.
